I have an integrated amp that I bought in 1976. Prior to taking it to Just Audio, it had never been serviced. When I got it home, the sound was clean and crisp, just like the day I bought it. They did an incredible job for an incredible price. There's nothing like dealing with people who know what they're doing. I love this place.
I brought my vintage Marantz preamp in for a general checkup, was told it would take about 4 weeks to assign someone to it, and the diagnostic cost would be $60, which would be credited towards any repairs. OK fine. I got a call about 3 weeks in, and all it needed was a couple of solder connections redone and a general cleaning of all the controls (also got a new power cord put on to replace the nasty one, nothing elaborate), got it back in a couple of days, no problems, sounds great, great service, great communication at the front desk, will use again.
I used them again for a McIntosh MC220 amp that blew one side out. It took about 4 months to get it back, but I wanted them to get it perfect before it came back to me, since this was a mid 70's amp and finding parts was a challenge (and McIntosh components are very persnickety about what you put in them). Ed was great; he kept in touch with me along the way as he found the proper parts and discarded parts that weren't quite right, and didn't settle for just-good-enough (and apologized many times for the length of time it took) . Just recently picked it up and it sounds like a dream, and the repair bill was more than reasonable.
Carl did a spectacular job: splendid reconditioning of my electronic musical keyboard. The keys on the Yamaha were increasingly sluggish, sticking, unresponsive - now it plays better than new. I recommend his work unconditionally. Staff is first rate. The go-to-place for repairs, for sure. I see they also sell equipment.
